What thickness of carpet should you choose?

2 mm yoga mat – for travel and easy flow

It is thin, easy to roll up and fits in a bag.
Ideal if you travel a lot or would like to lay your own carpet on the common area in a studio.

Recommended for: experienced yogis, for dynamic or traveling practice.

3 mm yoga mat – stable yet easy to carry

It is lightweight, but provides less protection for the knees and joints.
